Role: Store Manager – Farm Shop
Location: Blubberhouses Nr Otley, North Yorkshire
Salary: Circa £27’000 - £30’000 totally dependent on experience
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Store Manager, General Manager or Strong Deputy Manager ready for their first appointment to lead and develop an aspirational fresh and dry food store.
We are focusing our search for a strong retailer who has a huge passion for artisan food products aimed at a discerning customer. Fresh and Ambient experience is ideal. Particularly experience of delivering products to a customer that has a passion to buy good quality ingredients and products.
You need to have your finger on the pulse. Have led, developed, mentored, and coached a team of 10 plus, with the customer at the heart of everything you do.
We need you to have the ability to jump on board…bringing with you some key retailing skills...

- Creative eye to create bold and inviting displays, statements and food stories.
- Ability to think on your feet, devising new initiatives to maximise sales.
- Strong Visual Merchandising skills.
- Very high retail floor standards.
- The ability to lead, develop and grow a team.
- Work without supervision or the engulfing support you can find in large retailers.
- Have natural passion, energy and drive.
- Absolutely ‘love’ what you do.
- Ownership of the operation your lead.
- 100% hands on approach.
- Strength of character to work in an entrepreneurial environment.
