SALARY: £20’000 to £22’000

LOCATION: The Glasshouse, Holden Clough Nurseries, Bolton By Bowland

(An easy 30 minute commute from Skipton or 45 minute commute from Preston)

This is a rare opportunity to join an inspirational independent business which offers a unique and passionate retail environment. In 2019 Holden Clough Nurseries successfully started to develop their retail arm to offer their customers beautiful homeware accessories.

The successful launch of the Glasshouse happened in 2019 with development of the Potting Shed in 2020 and further retail development planned for 2022.
  • We are searching for a Retail Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager with stock management. You will lead the operating system to identify best and worst sellers and create an effective reordering process to enable the retail arm to further develop sales and product availability.
  • This is the perfect role for a retailer who has an analytical mind and has a strong interest and exposure to reporting systems to maximise shop floor availability. Helping the business develop by working with the Store Manager and buyer to identify the positive sales, predictions and continue to monitor and react to the customer demand and stock flow.
  • It is key that you have a huge passion and interest in interiors and homewares. 
Who would this role suit?
  • An interest to work within a growing independent business.
  • Ideally someone who has experience of working with stock management and reports.
  • Either a retailer or hospitality manager who has a natural talent and interest in beautiful homewares.
  • Can take leadership but also provide leadership to a small team.
