ROLE: Project Design Engineer – Manufacturing
LOCATION: Clitheroe
SALARY: Circa £35’000 - £40'000 + bonus scheme (6k-8k) and paid overtime

We are currently searching for a Project Design Engineer to join the team supporting the customer experience globally from start to finish. A mix of Mechanical Design and Project Engineering Management exposure is ideal.

Project Design Engineer key skills:
- Hands on approach is absolutely key.
- Design engineering experience, managing projects for dry and solid materials is key.
- Customer exposure and experience on site.
- Thorough admin and reporting skills.
- Ideally with some exposure to dry powder/dry product handling. (Powder/Dry experience could be from the Food/ waste recycling/ confectionery / pharmaceutical /Paint/Bakery or Building industry.)
- The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, with an interest in manufacturing or an interest of working within a technical environment.
- Educated to degree level with mechanical engineering degree.
- Experience of 3D CAD (Inventor or Solidworks)
- Ability to balance many tasks at the same time. Time management is key.
- Positive attitude and manner.
- Excellent communicator to develop and build customer relationship ensure repeat custom.
- Positive attitude working as a team and supporting colleagues.
- Working with and supporting cross departmental – design, engineers, purchasing, shop floor.
