ROLE: Operations Director (Multi-site)

LOCATION: East Lancashire

SALARY: Up to £80’000 + share scheme, bonus and car

A leading and growing hospitality group who operate a successful portfolio or high turnover boutique venues are seeking a Senior Operations Manager or Senior Commercial Manager to join the senior team reporting directly into the board, working alongside peer stakeholders.

This is not an everyday hospitality chain. This is a unique, successful group of destination bars, hotels and Inns with a thriving events business.

This role provides you with the autonomy to lead the individual operations. The role focuses on the commerciality of each site, leading and guiding the General Managers to operate commercially, customer focused with high presentation and operation standards.

What are we searching for? Operations Director Multi-Site

  • You will currently be in a Multi Site or Cluster role within a hospitality group. This could either be High Volume Inns/Pubs, Hotels or Contract Catering.
  • You will be a highly commercial individual with a proven track record of driving costs and delivering cost control. You will have a natural love for achieving the commercial goals.
  • Attention to detail to ensure each property is well maintained in all aspects of Health and Safety, Operational Standards, Maintenance.
  • Proven experience and awareness of a well-managed payroll.
  • You will put the customer experience as your number one priority ensuring all of the sites deliver high standards on a daily basis.
  • Well balanced manager with the aptitude to look at the business strategically and assist in the continual development of the business as it grows.
  • Ability to think outside the box, always focused on how the business can do things better.
  • Awareness and proven experience that small changes can make big differences.
Experience required - Operations Director Multi-Site

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Area Operations Manager, High Volume General Manager, Cluster Manager, Multi Site Operations Manager, Regional Manager or Operations Director within a high turnover hospitality business.
  • Very strong commercial acumen. You have to love the numbers!
  • A vibrant personality, able to lead and inspire an already successful team.
  • Events experience is an advantage but certainly not a prerequisite
  • An eye for detail.
  • Passion for very high customer service standards, with the ability to train and lead from the front.
  • Naturally driven with enthusiasm to succeed.
  • Ability to balance many balls!
