  • Part time – 20 to 30 hrs a week – Term time only
  • Home Working - Location: Lancashire. (School base is predominantly in the Preston area).
  • Salary: Circa £25’000 - £30’000 for 20 to 30 hrs a week - flexible around your needs

We are searching for a teaching professional who specialises or has a passion for IT and Computing to support a growth business developing digital workshops for after school extra curriculum development, in primary education.
 
The businesses primary focus is to develop young children’s digital skills and shaping their futures by learning the basics of computer coding. They have been providing schools and children with innovative computing programmes and initiatives for over 5 Years. Constantly updating, improving and refining their workshops and delivery model.
 
With their extensive experience of designing and delivering workshops they have an outstanding reputation with the schools. They are growing and reaching more and more young people, helping them to enjoy and understand Coding and Digital Skills. Currently working with Primary Schools in the Preston area and expanding across Lancashire you would be joining a proven business helping schools with their entire Computer and Digital provision without the need for heavy investment in upskilling and resources.
 
Computer Teacher - Role
 
This role can be a 20 or 30hr contract and something you could develop additionally to your current teaching role. Or a perfect opportunity to develop your skills (and earnings) in digital workshop development whilst you complete teaching temporary contracts or simply do as an alternative to teaching.
 
Workshop development will be required in term time only. Responsibilities would involve coordinating and creating new workshops, testing workshops are working, delivery is effective improving the children’s education in digital coding. Working closely with the owner of the company you would develop programmes that help children and young people engage in the computing curriculum.
