Production Manager
Location: Lancashire (Initially Clitheroe – base relocation to Preston/Leyland in 12/18 months)
Salary: Circa £45’000/£48’000 base + 8/10k bonus + car
The business is progressive and promotes a ‘go getter’ attitude to survive in a very competitive market. We are searching for a Production Manager that can support the business with continual growth.
This business is fast moving and is shaping through change at present. This is a challenging role and we are searching for an individual that can offer us a high work commitment whilst processes are further developed and streamlined.
This business is constantly evolving. As the Production Manager you will have the ability to collaborate at board level and influence your direct teams across engineering and assembling.
Great opportunity for an individual who have strong leadership skills and are motivated to lead through inspiration. You will be a great people manager with the desire to coach. Motivate and develop your team.
NB: Candidates must reside in the UK and need to live in the commuter belt of Lancashire. Clitheroe, Blackburn, Preston, Colne, Burnley, Chorley, Wigan, Bury, North Manchester, Fylde Coast are great examples of towns/areas you can commute from.

The role. What do you need?
- Ideally suited to a General Manager or Production Manager in a Manufacturing business or a business that has a production focus.
- Exposure to mechanical engineering and an understanding of this process.
- Problem solving and Project Management Skills.
- Lean manufacturing experience.
- Understand and interpret technical drawings.
- A positive approach will be a necessity coupled with being tech savvy.
- Huge attention to detail, driving the production teams to excel.
- Hunger and drive to make a difference and lead from the front within a solid UK business.
- It is key you have an outgoing personality, one that can challenge and is not afraid of change. An extrovert rather than Introvert.
- Leader rather than a manager – with the ability to drive results through your people rather than the task.
