This highly commercial business will give you an active and prominent role in one of the most successful retailers in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager currently managing the health and safety function across a large site.
What are we searching for?
Your experience could be at Regional level or Distribution or Large format supermarket/out of town store with a direct head count.
We are searching for an individual who has a fresh approach and can lead, motivate, inspire and engage team. You will effectively co-ordinate and manage the environment, health and safety function across the site and promote health and safety best practice and create a safety aware culture throughout. Manage, improve and inform about the waste management concept and actions on site, driving environmental and cost-effective best-practices.
It’s a big commitment, its hard work in a challenging and gritty environment. You need to have an energetic, forward thinking and resilient attitude but you’ll get that energy back ten-fold, when it comes to rewards, work-life balance and opportunities for progression.
