As a visual merchandiser you would project your creative flair by communicating visual concepts to promote products, brands, and services in a way that engages customers and maximises sales. It would be key to create eye-catching product displays and store layouts that captivate customers and encourage them to buy.
In a visual merchandising role your job is to increase sales and buyer attention, capitalising on the human tendency to ‘window-shop’. Successful shop displays are frequently changed to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes, such as Christmas, spring or summer.
