about the role
THE ROLE of an ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER
- We need enthusiastic people who believe that going the extra mile for customers is what service is all about.
- Take responsibility for specific areas of activity from day to day, as assigned by the Store Manager
- To deputise for the Manager by being totally in charge of the store in their absence
- Attention to administration
- Day-to-day operation of a busy Outdoor Leisure store
- Uphold great customer service through training
- Encourage sales and achieve budgets
what experience do you need?
EXPERIENCE of an ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER
- Current Store Manager or Assistant Manager or Deputy Store Manager.
- Autonomy and financial accountability in your current role.
- Sound commercial knowledge.
- Sales and performance driver.
- Deliver and achieve KPI’s.
- Related outdoor product knowledge would be a strong advantage.
- Exceptional training and people skills.
- Ambition.
- Self Motivation.
- Pace.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Strong willingness to learn.
- An interest and personal passion for the outdoors.
