about the role
ROLE OF HOTEL MANAGER
- Responsible for the overall management of the hotel and F&B operations based in West Midlands.
- Maximise sales and profit through effectively leading your team.
- Maintaining brand standards.
- Driving customer service.
- Accountability for profit and loss.
- Manage and improve costs.
- Deliver agreed targets and sales plan.
- Keeping customers happy will be the most important thing to you.
- Ensure your team deliver and recognise the importance of great customer service in line with company best practise.
- Recruit and induct the right people for your team in line with company policy and provide ongoing development to help them reach their full potential.
- Analyse and benchmark the performance of your hotel, sharing best practise, and drive ongoing improvements in all areas.
- Ensure that all legislation is adhered to within your hotel, including employment law, health and safety, food hygiene, COSHH.
- Be friendly and helpful at all times, leading by example.
- Treat your colleagues in a fair and friendly way.
