about the role
Skills required to be a Store Manager:
- Strong leadership with a "can do" mindset.
- Target and K.P.I driven with excellent cost control management.
- The ability to work in an autonomous environment with a limited support structure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service.
- High standard of visual presentation and merchandising.
- The ability to manage a high turnover unit with a footprint of between 10-25,000 Sq Ft.
- An understanding of the need for flexibility particularly in peak trading.
- The desire to continually develop your business.

what experience do you need?
Key experience to be a Store Manager:
- We are looking for high calibre Store Manager who has at least 2 years experience as a Store Manager or Senior Assistant Manager or Senior Deputy Manager from a high volume retailer.
- You will have the chance to influence the business with the implementation of ideas and building a team.
- Merchandising, layout and the full accountability of the store will drive you..
- You will currently be a Store Manager, Senior Deputy Manager, Senior Assistant Manager currently working for a well established large retail brand.
- You will be currently working in large format sectors either supermarkets, food convenience,Homewares or DIY.
- You will be efficient in a diverse and unique operation; be a manager that can adapt through an ever changing growing business; have strong people management skills; the qualities to drive your own success; hands on approach in a business that doesn’t stand still!
Benefits of a Store Manager:
- £30,000 - £33,000 depended on experience
