General Catering Manager – Multi Site

about the role
Having a track record of fantastic retail concepts across the UK; they recently launched a new concept that focuses on delivering high quality fresh and fast food in a fast-paced environment.
You will report directly to the site director responsible for the profitable and productive running of the site. Working very closely you will manage and guide a large number of retail unit managers…
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Increasing the sales through better store standards and merchandising
- Monitoring, controlling and reducing stock losses
- Controlling all costs, including staffing (full P & L accountability)
- Hands-on management of a team of 150 - 300
- Providing exceptional levels of service to customers at all times
- Staff development, PDPs, appraisals and disciplinary procedure
- Ad hoc projects as directed by the site director and Area Manager
- Control management expenditure to ensure achievement of budget and profits
- Implement products and procedures maintaining standards
- Develop Management team
- Identify business opportunities
- Ensure effective communication
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Liaise with external bodies e.g. EHO
- Monitor and comply with Statutory Regulations
what experience do you need?
The ideal candidate will currently be an area or regional manager for a well established fast paced catering, coffee, pub or restaurant brand.
You will be a dynamic manager, pro-active, focused and looking to develop your career ; your desire to succeed and your passion for customer service will be second to none.
You will have a strong personality, leadership skills and be adaptable and flexible in your approach.
Driving Licence required.
