about the role
- Team management
- Driving strategy
- Maximising profits and sales of the brand through effective management of stock, including cover, options, allocations and margin analysis.
- Determine high-level goals including pre-season financial plans, in-season projections, open-to-buy management and new store budgets in co-ordination with General Manager, Brand Manager and Retail Manager.
- Forecasting
- WSSI system management
- Influencing buys
- Liaison with the UK head office and factories on distribution and logistics
- Provide detailed financial and unit plans to maximise sales and flow of merchandise sales and flow of merchandise.
what experience do you need?
- Experience of European retail fashion or fashion accessories merchandising
- Understanding of customer profile and competitors fashion activity.
- Commercial and market awareness.
- Understanding of the supply chain and product lifecycle.
- Good understanding of customer profile, product range & competitors.
- Passionate about product.
- Use of CIMS and Excel.
- Good negotiation skills to achieve targets.
- Good communication and influencing skills at all levels.
- Highly numerical, able to interpret to determine decision making, work to budgets.
