about the role

Key responsibilities 

  • The role involves the day-to-day operation of a busy Retail operation
  • Duty management
  • Financial accountability including budget control
  • Maximising sales opportunities
  • Recruitment and selection of team
  • Training and development of team
  • Daily and weekly administration
  • Liaising closely with Senior Managers
  • Assisting in other areas of site as and when needed
  • Health and safety control
  • Security of site

 

what experience do you need?

Key Attributes: 

  • Management experience in a customer facing environment
  • Proven track record of success within a Retail environment
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Experience of staff recruitment and selection along with training and development
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Effective planning and time management
  • Passionate about driving sales
  • Experience of product sourcing and management
  • Financial accountability
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
