about the role
As part of the senior management team you will be responsible for building and maintaining a constructive site culture. This will be achieved through the development of managers and staff; providing resourcing, training and development expertise and solutions which will ensure great people and profitable sales.
Most importantly you will be part of a team driving operational standards - you will be very hands on in your role, identifying poor performance and conducting training either on a one to one....through coaching or group training sessions...

- Developing training stratagies and delivering
- Driving training standards throughout the whole business
- Monitoring performance across the site
- Performance Reviews
- Mystery Customer Scores
- Coaching – evaluation and feedback
- ER – ensuring legality
- Resourcing – right people, right place, right time
- Continuous development through the use of company tools
- Using your initiative to introduce new ideas to the business and make the business more profitable

what experience do you need?
This is an excellent opportunity that offers great career progression within this multi-functional retail operation and would be an ideal position for a current Training Manager or Training Advisor, HR Manager, HR Advisor or Operational Manager with a passion for training and pursuing a career within HR environment.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, strong people management skills and a confident personality ideally from a catering or retail background. You will have the ability to drive and develop training and development across all levels of managers on site, monitor performance closely and be confident and effective influencing your subordinates and peers to deliver the same message.
Ideally from the retail or catering sector you will have managed a team at store or multi-site level and be able to show examples of your results for driving the Training and HR development within your current role.
