Our client is a leading independent branded shoe retailer in the South of England. They offer their customers a wide selection branded footwear for men, women and children complemented by a beautiful range of accessories for all occasions. 

This is a family owned and run business that has been trading since the late 50s and currently stands at 14 stores 1 concession.

Footwear brands include: Cheaney, Magnanni, Merrell, Panama Jack, Churches, ECCO, Rohde, Gabor, Geox, Rhino, Bootleg to name only a few...

Customer service is paramount and the key to driving your store to is maximum...offering your customers a 'boutique' customer service experience is essential to enable to you to make a absolute success of your career... 

about the role

With an opportunity to become a Store Manager in one of their standalone stores. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Duty management.
• Key holder.
• Financial accountability.
• Stock management .
• Visual layout of store.
• Daily and weekly administration.
• Recruitment and selection of staff .
• Training and development of team.
• Liaising closely with Head Office.

what experience do you need?

• Your background will be retail ideally in footwear or fashion.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent stock management skills.
• Approachable and friendly manner.
• A passion for treating your store as if it is your own.
• Excellent man-management, training and development skills.
• 100% hands on approach.
• Very target and sales driven.
• Excellent motivator.
• Positive outlook and enthusiasm.
• Able to prioritise.

You will have a minimum of 2 years management expereince within a retailer who focuses strongly on customer service. Ideally you will be an existing Store Manager or Deputy Manager.
