about the role
- Supporting Store Manager with duty management.
- Responsible for achieving total customer satisfaction by ensuring that all team members consistently demonstrate customer care, selling techniques, merchandising skills and a knowledge of current promotions following company standards.
- Training and development of the team.
- Tracking and solving customer complaints/queries in a professional manner.
- Accountable for the compliance, training and maintenance of health, hygiene and safety standards and demonstrating acceptable monthly performance targets.
- Overseeing the delivery of operations and brand audit standards.
- Responsible for unit operations statement and financial control.
- Maintaining updated employee records as well as working time directives.
- Implementing and monitoring of all sector marketing initiatives.
what experience do you need?
- You will be currently working within the food/supermarket/convenience environment in a management or supervisory role.
- You will be able to demonstrate leadership by effectively recruiting, inducting, training, appraising and developing all employees within your team to the company standard.
- Manage payroll and benefits for team members in accordance with company procedures and policies.
- Manage employee relations and performance management issues to meet company standards.
