Within a catering and hospitality role you will organise and develop the food and beverage services of organisations and businesses, including all functions and events, while meeting customer expectations, food and hygiene standards and financial targets. Health and safety responsibilities play a key part in a catering and hospitality role, you will ensure regulations are strictly observed while monitoring the quality of the product and service provided.
Good organisational skills are essential for success in planning, budgeting and establishing financial targets and forecasts. In addition responsibility of maintaining stock levels and ordering new supplies as required in order to maximise sales, and meeting profit and financial expectations. A catering role also involves front of house responsibilities, you would be interacting with customers whilst ensuring outstanding customer service.
