A career in logistics involves coordinating and overseeing a process to its completion, it is the organisation of storage and the distribution of goods. In a logistics role you would ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. This job role can include transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.

It would be important to have an understanding of the whole supply chain so you can coordinate it effectively and liaise with suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers and consumers to ensure produce gets to the right place at the right time in the most efficient way.
